From Italy to Southern India

In March this year, Helen and I visited the beautiful Puglia area of Southern Italy, as we recced the locations for our Photography and Yoga retreat in the Autumn. This area has a rich culture of art, architecture and food. It was great to explore the ancient walled towns of Monopoli and Ostuni, amongst others. The highlight was a visit to some of the oldest Olive trees in Italy, many over a thousand years old. It was so moving to be in the presence of these majestic trees.

I then had the wonderful opportunity in April to be invited to shoot the stills photographs for the gorgeous Purple Valley yoga retreat centre in Goa. As work locations go, this was pretty special. I was given and Enfield 500 motorbike to get out and about on and spent 10 days shooting the retreat centre and the surrounding area. Helen and I will be back there in April 2020 to lead a 2 week ‘Yoga and Photography Retreat’. More details for both these retreats in the link below:
